Our Facilities

Our EDI Program

OUR FACILITIES
Southern Bloomer has several manufacturing facilities throughout the world providing us with a solid inventory flow capable of feeding large distribution and retail chains. Our U.S. Facility has 200,000 square feet with multiple freight loading docks.

Warehouse
We have a 200,000 sq ft warehouse of inventory that can be shipped out usually within 1-4 days.

Cutting Facilities
We have several large die-cutting machines that enable us to produce several tons of patches a day. The machines operate at two of our manufacturing facilities.

Quality Control Inspections
We quality check each and every bag of patches and hand fill them to ensure that we put our name on only top quality products. Each patch is checked for any discoloration, loose threads, or irregular shapes. They are then weighed and each bag is hand counted and filled.

Shipping Department
Our shipping department is setup to handle any type of needs our distributors may have including EDI/ASN shipping needs. We have the ability to ship anywhere/anytime. We also can provide any special thermal label printing you may need to direct the shipments through your internal warehouse.

Accounting Control
We have a full EDI setup to facilitate any automated orders that our distributors/retail chains. We also process phone orders, faxes, and we accept government credit cards. Each order is hand checked for accuracy and filled by one of our shipping facilitators.

Since then, we have quietly grown to become the leader in cotton knit cleaning patches serving multiple markets worldwide. We began making cotton knit panties and night shirts for state/federal mental institutions and prisons. In 1983 we found that the scrap from this business made excellent gun cleaning patches. Our cotton knit products leave no strings or threads and are virtually lint free. Today, you'll find Southern Bloomer® products in gun stores, police departments, military bases, forensic crime labs, government agencies, and probably in your own gun cabinet. You will also find our products used in the plastic, chemical, and milk industries. Because at Southern Bloomer, we're as committed to producing quality cotton knit products as we've ever been.
